I HEARD THE OCEAN CRY
I went to the ocean,
The cold month of December.
I was very young, then,
But this I do remember.

It's such a gloomy, cloudy day,
Just like a mother feels inside,
Cause you should be here and you're not,
And that's what makes her cry.
I spend most days just wondering,
Why you're not here with me?
The way things are without you here,
It really shouldn't be.
A mother should never ever have,
To be without her offspring,
When one is gone away from her,
It feels like she is dying.
